Speech: Tribal, Ethnic and National Identities in Iran

As we are approaching the International Mother Language Day, ISAUO is honored to present a related speech By Dr. Zia Sadr. Dr. Sadr, a graduate of Paris-Sorbonne University, is a social researcher and writer with a concentration on the issue of national and ethnic identities. He has written various articles regarding this subject. The title of the speech will be “Tribal, Ethnic and National Identities in Iran“. In This speech Dr. Sadr will highlight how different cultures and ethnics have contributed to the build up of Iran through out history. The differences between ethnic and national identities which should or should not be considered in the definition of these identities will also be discussed.
